Mozilla官方日前正式釋出了正式版本的Firefox 1.5，這次的版號是1111 build。比較令人意外的是，如果從來沒有安裝過firefox的人，它預設的台灣版啟始頁搜尋引擎改成yahoo，而不再是google了，這意味著什麼呢？很有趣的發展吧。根據Mozilla的官方說法，是亞洲地區比方說中國或台灣的Firefox預設會是Yahoo，這是商業性因素，其它地區則是Google。想進一步瞭解有什麼變動的，可以看Firefox 1.5完整的更新列表。
如果碰到有擴充套件不相容的，除了更新擴充套件外，也可以安裝Nightly Test tools去強制把不相容的套件設定可運作。
另外，也建議Firefox用戶安裝IE Tab 1.0.6.4擴充套件，這讓你可以瀏覽只能供IE瀏覽器閱讀的頁面（如WindowsUpdate、線上掃毒或一些購物網站），而不需要另開IE的程式。
