Mozilla方面其實每天幾乎都會釋出新的Firefox瀏覽器測試版本，不過一般都是放在官方網站FTP的nightly資料夾裡，表示為內部人員或專業測試用。
至於提供給一般人使用與測試的版本，則都會放在release的資料夾。日前Mozilla.org就正式釋出了Firefox 1.5.0.1RC1的英文版，提供給大家測試，版號是20060111，並且預計在測試後的正式版Firefox 1.5.0.1，沒有錯的話應該在1月底會釋出，屆時中文版也會釋出。
