瀏覽速度相當快的Opera瀏覽器，是來自北歐國家挪威的產品，除了PC平台上，手機與任天堂的Wii遊戲機都有它行動版或精簡版的芳蹤。過去自己沒有推薦使用Opera，純粹是因為其HTML支援和相容度的問題，雖然速度快，但很多網頁都看不到正確的格式，或者是不支援相關的功能。
但隨著9.2版推出後，這方面的問題已經改善到很難被注意到的程度，與Firefox一樣，只要瀏覽到的網頁不是限制使用IE瀏覽，或者是一定要安裝ActiveX控制項，Opera是可以順利瀏覽的。
日前推出9.2後獲得較多的好評，而這次推出更新版的9.21，修補了許多安全性問題，並增加Yahoo Answers的捷徑。
我自己是拿Opera來瀏覽一些簡單的網頁，有時候輕鬆拿來用，平常仍舊是開啟多個分頁的Firefox來工作。

The onunload event is no longer fired if a new URL is entered manually via the address bar or bookmarks.
Fixed a bug where User JavaScript on HTTPS would keep prompting to be allowed to run on a page.
Fixed a crash caused by long object descendant property chains in JavaScript.
安全性
Fixed a buffer overflow with malformed torrents, as reported by iDefense.
A specially crafted torrent file can cause a buffer overflow in Opera. This allows arbitrary code to be injected and executed.
The overflow happens when the user right-clicks on the torrent entry in the transfer manager. Simply clicking on the torrent link will not trigger this flaw.
